The Center for Servant Leadership at the Pastoral Institute provides corporate training and consultation that is rooted in the philosophy of servant leadership, a style of leadership where the leader seeks to serve first and then aspires to lead. In addition, we collaborate with Columbus State University as well as congregations and youth ministries throughout Columbus in an effort to build a community of servant leaders.

Servant leadership, though an ancient teaching, has found resurgence in the corporate world, organizations and even schools and homes. Servant leaders lead from the heart and believe deeply that part of their job is to empower others to grow as persons.
